  1. Hello! I am in need of a little advice from you seasoned professionals.. Currently helping someone with an Employment Tribunal claim, and on an order from the judge, it asks her to disclose a "list of documents in her possession relevant to the case". How does this get listed? is it simply a list such as "date, name of document"? Also, what about text messages? are these to be listed in full, such as date, time, message content, or simply just date and time text was received or sent? Apologies if this comes across as confusing in my writing style!
  2. Hi guys and gals, I'm having a lovely disagreement with the complaints team at Santander at the moment and would like some advice from you knowledgable people! Basicaly, I suffered "Application Fraud" where someone managed to take out an account in my name and use it for a short period before defaulting it, they used this account to access numerous other lines of credit too, but these are now resolved. 3 years ago, Santander confirmed in writing, after a full investigation, that I was not to be held responsable, and also to confirm that the default and infact, all infomation about the account had been removed from all of the credit reference agencies. Last October, I applied for a mortgage, to be turned down by most of the main lenders, Halifax, somehow accepted me, although wanted a 30% deposit. I've since checked my credit file with Experian and Call Credit to find that the default from Santander is still there. Their complaints team have accepted responsibility, and told me they would remove the default, and put me "back in the position I would have been, if the default wasn't there" for this, I requested Santander to pay my exit fees on the mortgage so I could hopefully remortgage at a better interest rate, I didn't want any other compensation, for the booking on fee etc, just the exit fees covered. I was asked to send over numerous bits of paperwork, confirming this exit fee, a letter from the broker confirming that my options would have been limited in the case of taking out a mortgage etc, and thought I was getting somewhere with them, then today... Today, I got a call from my complaints handler at Santander to basically say that because there is no proof that I would have been offered a lower rate without the default, or products with other companies, they will only offer me £195 in compensation. Any ideas where I can take this next? Many thanks!
