[edited] ......strange thing about all this, we still don`t know who we owe monies to, card in an envelope was given to me, but no info on that only company name and account number. After i ran inside for husbands inhalers the agent sat in his car for a long time, outside house. Once my husband was calmed down but still laying on the ground in the drive he asked me to speak to agent and get his name. I spoke with him but because of data protection he couldn`t tell me who debt was owing to. My husband injuries were not apparent at this point, his pride I suspect preventing him from telling me how hurt he was. Hubby is a mans man. He obviuosly landed one punch as I saw a mark on agents cheek, but police said we should have reported this first, hubby pushing him first is problem. Caution letter says assult by beating....be warned, don`t go pushing anyone.....Hubby at docs tomorrow as hearing in left ear still not returned. I think this could have been much worse if asthma hadn`t kicked in, fortunately it rendered hubby useless as i`m sure he would have continued struggling . He has an abhorrance of bullies and recognised the agent as just that.

thank you all for advice.. ..obviously i came here to find out about this company and along the way have learnt what to do if they return, doorstep letter ready and waiting, my husband was advised to accept the caution as he admitted pushing the guy first, and police didnt think much of lumps on hubbys head.. .he has now lost hearing in left ear from kicking and has a huge ugly bruise in groin area and of course bruised ego...

Ask nicely you say? a few days ago one of their reps called at my home. ..husband realised who he was and repeatedly asked him to leave.. .he puffed his chest out and said he was going nowhere.. .husband pushed him and said yes you are whereupon this thug punched my husband. ..pushed him to the ground and kicked him repeatedly. . i came out of house and again asked him to leave, he refused.. .hubby had serious asthma attack during this and was quite defenceless apart from being 20 yrs older than this thug ..next day husband is hauled off to police and cautioned. ..pushing this thug amounts to assault and battery. Now very frightened they`ll turn up again...daughter won`t let me have grandkids to stay because its not safe here....HELP
