  1. Is it usually immediate? I just got fobbed off as usual. Lady I need to speak to isn't available apparently.
  2. Sent forms back last Thursday but still no money in my account despite their letter stating money will be credited upon receipt. Is this guaranteed or will they investigate first? Desperate for money now! Rang vut they said to ring back! Thanks
  3. Had a reply from bank. Apologised that I was told if I owed money on a loan a chargeback couldnt be issued. 2 declaration forms enclosed and a promise to credit my account on receipt of the forms. Are Tower then going to contest it though? Need the money back asap but scared in case it gets upheld and they debit my account again! Thanks for your help.
  4. Hi, Still having problems with Natwest re my post the other day. Has anyone actually successfully claimed chargebacks on unauthorised payday loan debits?? Thanks
  5. It was a visa debit. I initially spoke to customer relations, then the visa chargeback people.
  6. Thanks so much. Am I best putting all this in writing to the manager of the visa dispute team?
  7. Natwest. Said they couldn't do a thing without this!
  8. Thanks. I have been onto the bank twice and they are refusing unless I get written proof I owe them nothing!
  9. Thanks, I will. I wasn't aware of the CCJ until I got it through the post which is when I agreed the £50 a month. I am on SMP currently and they just took every penny.
  10. Total amount was £283. The initial agreement was for £50 a month. They have taken £125 in 5 transactions. I sent an email and received this back. I have never logged in to do such a thing. Regarding how we collected the monies owed, please be advised that our audit trail clearly shows your log in activity to your existing account, providing us with your new card details to take payment on your existing pay day loan account presently held with ourselves. We need to make you aware that our next course of action may be to apply to an attachment of earnings which will be taken directly through your employment and increase your balance by a further £100.00.
  11. Hi all, Stupidly in 2010 I took out a loan for approx £100 with the above. I eventually got a CCJ through non payment. Long divorce and lots of debt later, it turns out although I set up a repayment plan I only made one payment on it. 2 years have passed and urgent loan needed I applied with them again not realising. Anyway....they have emptied my account in 5 debit card transaction s(different one than linked to old debt) I intend paying them but do they have then right without notifying me?
