Thank you for the reply. If I do not open the door, how do I know it is them? If I do not open the door will they come back another time? How likely it is that they will turn up? I have not seen any threads with regards any real visit by these people.

Hi sillygirl, I can see you have offered someone help in case she is taken to court. I myself in a similar situation to her. Been borrowing from minicredit for few months, always paid back until this time when I did not have the funds. Today I received second letter that doorstep collector will visit me, what are the chances they will? I am dealing with a debt management company but minicredit are refusing to deal with them which I think is illegal for a start as they have to accept any payments (I might be wrong). If I am taken to court can you help me with adviciing how to defend myself?
