Thanks will write and continue claim. No reason for disallowing claim. If the Halifax try to take out of sherriffs court I will get back to you.

I've made two claims in the Scottish Sheriff Court system and been offered £600 + which is in my Halifax bank A/C the offer is £500+ less than I've claimed. They are writing to the court to say the claim is settled. Any reason why I should not write to say it is not settled. The Halifax say they have made the offer without accepting liability to save them court costs? Any thoughts advice risks?

I put in a letter to the Halifax/BOS here in Scotland. They made me an offer of a third of my claim. I think I underclaimed the interest I should have charged. Whats the next step here? Is it too late to up the interest?

Hi have been offered a settlement of a third of what I asked for by the Halifax,whats the process in Scotland or am I better of accepting their offer. Jon Gray
