recently just had a tax credit review through stating wages that we have told them and wages they have decided to check out on myself and partner i know this was stupid but for the current tax year 2011/2012 i declared my partner less than what he's on. what will happen now? will the tax credit awad be stopped for 2012/2013 year? any advice or help would be appreciated

hi. im a new poster and cannot find what im looking for through all these threads. basically my partner and i have been bad... been declaring £18000 tax credits, our actual wage is around the £26000 a year mark. i completely know its our fault for this i dont condone it, but at the time when money is and bills need paying you start cutting corners and now this. We have recieved a letter in after they have done a random check on us and our wages dont match what they have got on file. they have lowered our child tax credits but we still recieve child tax credits till the end of the tax year. after that im unsure what will happen now? we have been claiming as low income for a couple of years and slowly bumping it up each year. but now they are looking at our claim what will happen? we are stressing a bit and know its our own fault completely. will we need to repay everything from the years we have been claiming or just the most recent tax year 2011/2012? thank you for any help and am sorry for another tax credit post
