Had a recorded text message on my phone this morning, advising that MMF were after payment on a debt and wanted to be contaced to sort out early payment or a payment plan. The trouble is that this is my work phone and the message was for a member of staff who used to be on my team. (Not sure why he gave out my works numbers as it is not his extension). Have MMF broken any guidelines with this as I now know that my colleague is in financial trouble, owes money and that they are a debt collection firm?
