  1. Hello all, I have written back to the tribunal service, asking for statement of reason. (My tribunal gave me 18 points) I have supplied further evidence of serious errors at my ATOS Medical and complained that my tribunal missed vital evidence from that Medical. Asking tribunal for a fresh decision. I, have now complained to my MP and asking him to investigate further for me. I let the DWP know via letter. Will just see what happens. Getting very down with the whole process now. Still think that in the end the job centre awaits me. Will give it one last push to highlight their mistakes. Feel like I am the one in the dock all the time as so to spreak. I do believe the DWP are just wearing people down until they finally give in. In any case,if you heard the news, all benefits are being scrapped soon to be replaced by the universal benefit. I have contacted my local radio station, as they are interested in mental health matters and whats happening at the moment with the benefits. Its ok, it will not go out on air. I, do feel like contacting a national newspaper. But thats just pie in the sky. Best wishes to you all
  2. I would write straight away to tribunal services and tell them what has happened. They maybe able to help. I think it couldbe a mistake by the dwp and atos. Do, contact tribunal services quickly, phone them first. Good luck.
  3. Thank you Margaret. For all your help. I have booked an appointment to see my GP next monday to discuss my situation. I am worried that the job centre will force me to start job hunting and this will effect my depression as I have problems with pressure. I thinking, would it be better to take a break and live off my savings, and see how the job situation is in six months time, and then apply for ESA or if my health is better then, just go onto JSA. I do not know. MY GP will still cover me with sick notes if needed at the moment.. I will wait and see him on monday and decide. I am afraid of the pressure that the job centre may put on me. Many thanks for all your help. Graham.
  4. Thanks very much Margaret. I will look up on Google. I am going to write to the tribunal Services for statement of reason. I have been put into work related group with 18 points. Now, if that means I will get son training or courses to go on, then that maybe ok. But, if that means I will be put straight on to job hunt. Then I will have health problems. I will not contact the job centre. I will wait for them to contact me. Told it should be in about two weeks. Many thanks for your help.
  5. Looking at my Tribunal Decision Notice. I have been quoted the sections where I have scored points. But one of my problems has been missed. I did state the problem at my tribunal and it was quoted at my atos medical. I have asked the tribunal service for a statement of reason. But, is it worth me waiting until the DWP contact me first. I wonder if they may let me appeal again. I think that if I want to take things further, I may have to start a fresh ESA Claim. Is it worth me contacting my local MP. Sorry for all my content today, but iam very worried and its not helping my depression
  6. How can I get transferred from ESA work support group to support group only. I do not understand the 18 points I have
  7. Hello All, I had my Tribunal Letter today 13/9/12 and I got 18 points. I am confused,as I think they have placed me in the work related group. Can I appeal against that or what. I am really not well and expected to go in the support group. What happens next. I am going to see my doctor and wonder of he would cover me with sick notes for a longer period of time. I am just about to give up and tell the DWP to go somewhere. Please help
  8. Just, one more comment. I wonder if the ATOS Medicial will improve in time or be just as bad as its always been????????????? I know lots of people are starting to complain to their MPs etc. Thanks alot, I really mean that. Do take care of yourselves.
  9. Thanks you lot. You are just great. Do bear in mind that ESA only lasts for 1 year as I understand. Thanks for all your help. I will keep in contact on this site. And help any of you others if I can.
  10. I do not know. Just Told will go back onto ESA. Will hear from DWP in about 2 weeks
  11. Tribunal was better than expected and fair.I did find it stressful. Now wait to hear from DWP. Why should us sick people be placed through hell all the time like this.. I hope the DWP leave me alone for a wait now.
  12. Had tribunal today and awarded enough points to stay on ESA
  13. Thanks to you all, for comments on my tribunal tomorrow. I take great comfort, in the geat number of people out there and your comments. Thanks so much. I will let you know how I get on. All my paprwork is ready to take, looking at the copy I have of the ATOS Medical I had. I can find error, after error, after error. Why can't the goverment find a better and fairer system to treat us. Or, are they just intent to get us off all benefits to save money. Best wishes to you all.
  14. Hello All, My tribunal is next tuesday. 11 Sept. I cannot tell you how Iam feelings. My doctor has put me on more antidepressants to help. If, I fail my tribunal, then I have hear that there is a upper tribunal you can go to. I do not really want to end up on JSA because of my mental health. I have heard that you can wait six months and then claim for ESA. Does anyone know. I really fear going back onto JSA and would live off savings for six months then claim ESA again. My great doctor is very willing to provide me with medical certificates, what ever happens to me. Can anyone help. I have also heard that someone from the DWP maybe present at my tribunal. Best wishes to you all and thank you.
  15. Hello all, Had tribunal date of 11/9/2012. Its local, so not much travel time. I sent as much evidence as I can to tribunal. Would it be helpful to send in doctors medical certs while waiting for appeal. Live with dad since my divorce. He is sort of my carer and ex-male nurse. Do you think I should get him to do some sort of letter to tribunal. Just want the whole process over with now. Its a whole worry. Best wishes to all.
  16. Thanks All, Your comments were most welcome. Thank God for a web site like this that can help. I never knew so many people cared. Will just wait for tribunal Date and see. I think I am losing a never ending battle with the DWP now. They seem to make up their own rules as it suits them. May best wishes to you all.
  17. Re.DWP Medical and Appeals Update From Grahamdavid31. Hello all, Well my appeal went into the DWP in april of this year. But,because of all the pressure of the long wait for a tribunal. I suffer from depression etc. I do not want to shock anyone, but I took a pill over dose recently as things gone too much. I am ok as my dad caught me and I am having treatment now. More antidepressants. I wrote to the DWP and gave them the facts. All they have done is served me with tribunal papers already. I did write two letters to them, giving them the chance to check with hospital etc on facts. I think they just took no notice at all and did not take this into consideration.I gave them alot of information. They do not care. I am posting off my tribunal papers with extra information attached shortly and information on my overdose attempt. Will wait for tribunal date, should hear within about six weeks. The DWP just do not care how they treat people, and I think that the dole will be my port of call before long. The DWP are making things as hard as possible for sick and ill people and do not care. Sorry to shock you. I am ok. My best wishes to you all
  18. Dear osdset, Thanks for reply. Great comfort to hear not having to attend work forcused interviews while on appeal. DWP letters are very unclear. Great number of people suffering out there at present. My best wishes
  19. Hello All, I have submitted an appeal to the DWP aganist my nil points ATOS Medical. Today(27/4/12) I received a letter from the DWP stating that Iam going to be paid the assessment rate of Employment and Support Allowance until my appeal is heard by the Tribunals Service. They say that I will receive a further letter in due course. I know that I may need to get my doctor to supply medical statements in the meantime. The bit that worries me is that they state that I may be required to participate in Work Focused Interviews. What does this mean? I already had a bad time, the last time I was on JSA and my depression got quite bad. I worry that I may be railroaded into employment this time while waitng for my appeal. I would be quite prepared to just live off my savings while waiting for my appeal and take the current pressure off myself. All this has been making me very ill and I wonder if appealing now was a good idea. What do you good people think. I do hope you all are coping. My very best wishes.
  20. Dear Johnwilliams, I would chase them up for your backdated money. You may get better results by writing to your local MP for help. Good Luck
  21. Hello HB, I have a report from ATOS on my medicial. It was full of errors and mis-quotes. The Health Care Professional seemed to lie. Oh well, I will wait for what happens with the appeal. Thanks for your answer. I hope you are coping. Very many thanks.
  22. Hello All, Just had results of ATOS Medical and nil points scored. What a surprise. I have send off form GL24 etc. I know it could be upto six months before my case is heard at appeal. I do not really want to go onto JSA,as really had alot of trouble and very bad treatment last time. My depression could not stand another round of that. Will the DWP try to push me until anything else, while Iam waiting. I have disconnected the home phone during the day, as could not face talking to them. Will only contact them by letter. (My doctor is aware.) I am, really ready to just live off my savings while waiting for the appeal. As,I do not really want to trouble my great doctor for more help. What do you good people think. My very good wishes.
  23. Thanks for that. I feel like I am currently on death row. Never mine, I am coping and see what comes next. I will protect my corner and not take any well, you what I mean from the DWP. Very best wishes
  24. Hello, I had my ATOS Medicial on 17/2/12 and it was all in favour of the doctor??? and his computer. I had no chance to state my case and illness. It was very unfair. He kept saying you are fine. I kept trying to give him the facts. Had even typed up a report on myself and my medicial history. He did not even look at it. Should wait for letter and see! I think I may goto Tribunal in the long term. Quite happy to wait for tribunal, if that is what it takes and take no money and live on savings while waiting. Cannot face going to Job Centre. I have depression etc. Good luck to you all.
