  1. Thanks guys for all your help! Update--Spoke to the court today and they advised me to get back in touch with shakespear. I did and asked them why offer of payment wasn't accepted and why judgment was made . . long conversation but they agreed to suspend it and set up payment plan. They did try to fob me off at first! But backed down once i told them i am in a position to take it further due to them not responding and getting no claim form originally etc I now have a bit of time to at least get this sorted!
  2. Credit file shows my address and the county court business centre as court address. ... really appreciate your help on this by the way .
  3. Right ive just checked! And on credit file it says court judgment 6th april 2017. Does this mean ccj?
  4. It says judgment creditor safety net credit formerly known as clearaccount. Debtor is myself with my full address. Payments to be made to shakespear martineau and their full address. I may of even been in the debt management plan when i took this loan! Will have to look in to it .. but so worried its too late! Problem is this sm company gave me no time before 1st email and letter and the n55!
  5. Thank you for your help . Is there any way of delaying the aoe? As it says reply within 8days. Should i call the court and explain ive tried to pay etc.
  6. No not moved. Its just very confusing as this shakespear martineau just contacted out of the blue. First email 26/04/17 . I responded called them told them want to settle the debt as i dont dispute but could they send me breakdown of what im paying?? They did this but then got a letter threatening attachment of earnings.. again i called them and sent email offering payment.. week later they respond (after i called them) asking me to fill a form ( expenses etc) i told them i dont wish to disclose employer details they said fine just fill in much as you can as they cant accept any offer without it .. So I did again offering payment and asking for their bank details. No response until this Saturday i get the n55 letter!
  7. hi It says N55 right at the bottom of the letter. On top it says notice of application for attachment of earnings. Not sure about ccj... as only came about couple of weeks ago. There is application number judgment creditors number. Sorry forgot to add the debt they are saying is £1172.
  8. Hi I previously had a loan with safetynet credit which i failed to pay.. i sorted out all my finances in debt management and totally forgot to add this one. now a company called shakespear martineau has contacted me out of the blue threatening attachment of earnings. I wrote and made a offer of payment which they ignored unless i filled out an expenses form! I didn't want to disclose my employer etc so filled out the form as stated on their email (as much as i can) again offering payment of £50 a month plus asking for bank details. This weekend i have received a judgment letter asking me to reply to court within 8 days or attachment goes ahead.. This company seems to be ignoring all my emails not even said can you offer higher amount etc. . Ive kept in contact since 1st letter and also even spoke to them on phone to check they got my emails . What can i do? Is it worth me contacting safety net Who the original debt is with? Thank you .. feeling so stressed!
  9. Got letter from b and s today and all it says it total arrears! No breakdown and no copy of levied goods! I tried to send the template letter from here but you can only contact them via there website which only lets you put in certain amount of words!! Does anyone have an actual email for them? In the mean time I will post a letter to them! I made very clear in the initial email that i required full breakdown! Arrangement that is currently in place comes to and after this month..so i am sure they will try to bully me to put up the monthly payment when infact i cant afford to pay what i am paying now!
  10. We are now thinking maybe let the dmp take there payment and then just pay bailiff what we can afford? Until we know for sure..is this maybe a better thing to do? Although bailiffs will probably moan they got less than there normal amount this month! Sorry to go on but usual payment is due next week!
  11. Yes i got the template of here..i sent it yesterday just awaiting the reply. I have been onto council and the liabilty orders they told me add up to the total debt. Have been paying b and s for around 2 yrs..maybe 1 and half cant rmbr exactly but will know for sure when get the breakdown i know the 1st liabilty order was in 2007 ish. My hubby had such a long conversation with the dmp people about this and just found out he has already given his card details to them for 1st payment! :0. Silly i know! But they were totaly convinced they would take it on! We even asked them what if they dont accept?? They again assured us they would as they have dealt with this kind of thing before including high court enforcments and house repossions etc Now im feeling a bit foolish . have we made a big mistake? Should i just risk it and see what happens?
  12. Council tax.. 4 liability orders and levied goods around £5000 . Have recently asked for a breakdown but am suspecting its right..
  13. Thank you. Really appreciate it! . Just want to reduce my payments and get rid of bailiff!
  14. Thankyou I have tried that with no joy problem is the bailiff payments.currently paying £200 a month plus £170 to my current dmp . The new dmp has said they will consolidate the 2. So thats my dilemma...no free dmp company will take on bailiff fees as its related to council tax!.i just wondred if anyone has had ANY company that has taken on bailiff fees. Thank you for your help
  15. I understand the whole fee paying thing but many free dmp Do not take in bailiff fees.. Hence why this one. It is one of the most well known ones and I asked the ? About what if they dont accept? They then told me they have many they have dealt with and there is no problem As they have special advisors that deal with bailiffs who will get them to accept.. Although i am a bit wary of missing this months payment what is the worst the bailiffs will do? Am i asking for trouble?
  16. I am in a dmp and about to change over to a new company from the one I am in now. The new dmp company have said they can take on my debt with bristow and sutor. Has anyone ever had a dmp that bailiffs actually accepted?? They advised me not to pay this month and have assured me that bailiff can NOT force entry despite the fact they have entred before and listed some goods.I am new here so sorry if i have posted in wrong section!
