I had a HP agreement with Welcome finance for my car which I paid off over 4yrs without missing a single payment. I now noticed that my credit files with Call Credit and with Equifax ( nothing on Experian ) show that the account has been settled. This gives the impression that I settled the acoount before it was due at a reduced amount which can have a negative effect on my score. Could this be changed to something else e.g. Account Paid to distinguish it from the settled status. Regards
