  1. My husband declared himself bankcrupt back in February 2008 listed down as creditors was the council tax for the previous year. We had not been notified by either the courts the insolvency service or our local council that this bill was still liable to be paid and today a baliff visited and left a letter stating that he would be returning to remove goods to the value of the bill outstanding. My husband has phoned the insolvency service and they have admitted that they should have informed us of this back in march but the lady responsible had been sacked due to negligence. He then phone the council whom informed him that the liability order stands and that we should speak with the baliff to arrange a payment plan. The bill is for just under £2000. and we feel that as it is now August and the fact the we were unaware until today that this bill was still to be paid and we have only been given 48 hours to settle this that we should be able to return to court to come to some sort of arrangement. We live in a partly furnished rented house and have very few possessions so are not in a position to settle this demand. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, I have received my last 6 years of bank statements and i am about to submit my claim i estimate it to be in the region of 6k which will do nicely but as my bank is still making charges on my account should i reapply for my bank charges to be returned each month or should i inform my bank to cease making unfair charges.
