Hi Everyone Basically i forgot my student card on a journey from Bristol to Leeds (Cross Country) an told the conductor who went to charge me for a new ticket £92, they didnt accept the type of card I had so i had to give them my address, my university address which im not actually registered at my fine has now increased (due to my stupid flatmates putting the original letter in the recycling bin) so now today is the last day to pay my fine which is 92 pounds plus a 60 admin fee! this is the last letter and it says after that it will prosecution considering they have no other details but a address that i wasnt even registered at, how likely is this to go through i literally do not have that money in the bank to pay it but would also love to avoid prosecution! could i also argue that despite that being the address i gave when i recieved the letter i was actually at home for 3 weeks so didnt even have a chance to look at the letter?! PLEASE HELP!
