  1. The seller's name on Amazon is URcouk and their business name and address is Buyur Limited, Unit 11-15, Lancaster Fields, CREWE, Cheshire, CW1 6FF Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the responses. I appreciate it. @dx100uk thanks for the link. I did actually read a few posts but not 20+ . Yes, I have sent the receipt to Amazon on three separate occasions. @BankFodder it's a Network Mesh Router valued at £300. I have returned items to Amazon on countless occasions but my situation is slightly different. The item in question was not sold or dispatched by Amazon, it was sold and dispatched by a Third Party Seller, and as a result an automatic refund was not initiated. In addition, the returns QR Code was supplied by Amazon. The Seller and Amazon are refusing to contact Evri to raise a missing items claim.. the Seller says it's Amazon or my responsibility and Amazon just says I should deal with the Seller. Plus, the parcel shop receipt never tracked. As an aside, I have seen cases were an Amazon item (i.e. sold and dispatched by Amazon) was not auto-refunded until the item was received, which in most cases are "expensive" items. Many thanks!
  3. Hi there, I'm unable to get past Evri's chatbot on their website and the voice prompts on their contact number (0330 808 5456). I returned a £300 item back to a third party Amazon seller (i.e. not sold by Amazon) in December 2022 and since then, there's been a back and forth exchange between myself and the seller, and myself and Amazon. To summarise the events: Dec 2022 - I initiated a return and Amazon provided a QR code Dec 2022 - I took the parcel to an Evri parcel shop, printed off an Evri label using the QR code, stuck it on the parcel, the shopkeeper scanned and gave me the usual blue Evri receipt (which I still have in my possession) ***At this point the tracking number on the Parcel Shop receipt wasn't recognised on the Evri website*** Jan 2023 - Amazon suggested waiting for 30 days before contacting third party seller Feb 2023 - Contacted seller who suggested I wait for the warehouse a backlog of returns Mar 2023 - Reinitiated contact with seller who confirmed that parcel was never received Apr 2023 - Seller insists that I should contact Evri, Amazon suggests the same Apr 2023 - Parcel Shop Receipt tracking number still isn't recognised on the Evri website Jun 2023 - Tracking number is now working but it's referencing a completely different parcel sent recently by someone else to a different retailer. I suspect that receipt numbers are recycled after a period of time. Jun 2023 - Long story short, the seller refuses to take responsibility for contacting Evri because Amazon supplied the label, and Amazon refuses to take responsibility because the tracking number is invalid Questions... who is responsible for raising a missing items claim with Evri? Myself, Amazon or the third party seller? How do I contact Evri in order to speak to an actual person? As of last week, I've initiated a claim via my Credit Card Issuer but that will take weeks. I'm also keen to take this to Court (if necessary). Appreciate any advice. Many thanks
  4. Hi dx, Thanks for your prompt response. How long is a bit? Wait until the SAR deadline or just before? That will be in 3 weeks or so. Thanks.
  5. Hi, I understand the deadline for a response re the CCA is 14 days, is this correct? If my assumptions are right, I'm fast approaching the deadline and I've heard nothing back from CL so far. Could you please advise me what the next course of action would be if I don't get a response past the deadline. Thanks
  6. Hi, Quick update on the thread. Today I sent off the SAR to Santander Cards Limited who bought GE Capital Limited and I CCA'd CL Finance. I will let you know when (or if) I get a response. Thanks.
  7. Hi, Thanks Brig and all who have replied with some good advice. I sent off the SAR to Capital One today. I will update the thread as things progress. Thanks again.
  8. Hi, My Experian credit file shows late payments, a Default and then Settled. This was the original Capital One file before it was passed on to the DCA. My Call Credit file is the one that the DCA was using and after settlement, they passed the acc back to Capital One. So brig, 1. if the first default was sometime in March 2006 will it be wiped off my credit file in March 2012? 2. will it appear on my credit file after March 2012? Am I right in thinking that I will still see it on my credit file but creditors won't? Thanks
  9. Hi, It's CallCredit. Basically it shows 4, 5, 5, D ... and D reoccurs every month until the time the account was closed. By the way, shouldn't the last marker be S - for 'Settled'? The status reads 'Satisfied' and the last marker is D. On my other closed and settled account, the last marker is S and the status is 'Settled', although this account wasn't defaulted. I don't know if it makes a difference.
  10. Hi, They are actually defaults. Every month I make a payment I get the Default marker for that month. It's been going on since Mar 2006. 1. Thanks 2. So when you say "financial transaction", does a payment to the DCA count? For example, I paid them last month and as a result they marked my file last month. Which date are we looking at? Thanks.
  11. Happy New Year all! I've just noticed on my credit file that the first default was sometime in March 2006 and it should be wiped off in 3 months time. 1. Do you think it's still worth getting the SAR? Maybe just to recover charges? 2. Brig said the recurring default marks on my credit file are just updates. Would I still see these marks in April 2012 - bearing in mind what was mentioned above? Thanks.
  12. Thanks dx. I'll get them sent next week and let you know. Thanks again.
  13. Hi, Alrighty, will do. I don't understand what you mean by "who owns the debt"? Can you elaborate? The outstanding balance was sold to CL Finance (the DCA) and the account was assigned to them. I've got a letter from them confirming this and my CRA shows CL Finance, not GE. So I guess CL Finance owns the debt. I will SAR to GE Money and CCA to CL Finance and see what happens. But I'm also tempted to include the offer in the CCA as well? Is this wise or should I just hold fire until I get all the requested docs (as previously advised)? Thanks
  14. Hi dx, Should I still SAR to GE Capital even though the statements (since I started my DMP) are coming from the DCA? You mentioned the reclaim with no CCA may put me in a better position to offer a low F&F, but seeing that the balance was bought by the DCA the agency has nothing to do with the reclaims, GE does. That is, F&F goes to the DCA and the reclaim is processed by GE Capital. Isn't that the case? Thanks.
  15. Just to clarify, the reason why I ask is because I would like to re-offer a full and final settlement figure and get it paid by Jan 2012. Can I still do this, request for a CCA and a SAR, close the account and follow up the SAR? What would you strike off from the list? Thanks.
  16. Hi, Thanks for that. Is there a list of items I should be looking for when I receive the SAR? I know it's a long way off, I just want to be prepared so I don't keep bothering you guys until I get all the records from them. Thanks.
  17. Hi, Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't know that an agreement can be transferred to a DCA. If I feel that they were only 2 or 3 charges on the account, is it still worth sending off a SAR? Thanks.
  18. Hi, Thanks for all the info guys. Really appreciated. Are DCAs allowed to mark a file? Can one not dispute it on the grounds that the CCA was not signed between the debtor and the DCA? Thanks.
  19. Hi, 6 years from the time original default? And not the last reoccuring mark? Thanks
  20. Hi, Is it also worth sending CCA to CL Finance (i.e. DCA) as well? So I can put the account in dispute and cease payments till further notice. Thanks.
  21. Hi, It was passed back to Capital One and I closed it the month after. I will send off an SAR and see what charges were applied. Should I send it to the DCA or to Capital One (or perhaps both)? Nothing can be done about the Default mark on my file?
  22. Hi dx, Oki doki! Thanks for that. What do you suggest I do about the late marks on my file and the declined full & final offer as per my original post? Many thanks.
  23. Hi, I see. Let's say the balance is £15 and the reduced payment is £5 p/m would it still not meet the contract? For example, I had a store card that was 24.9% APR and in the contract it said the min payment due each month will be the greater of £4 or 4% of the outstanding balance. So in the scenario above the reduced payment of £5 p/m is greater than £4 and 4% of the balance. What is your take on this? Also note that interest was frozen throughout the DMP. Maybe this is where the problem is?
  24. Hi, Yes, they were some charges but I shredded 2 or 3 years worth of statements (last year) because I thought I won't need them. So if I SAR them I should be able to see the charges and get those refunded? I should send this to GE Money correct? Yes I am, through CCCS. In the meantime, should I review my DMP with the CCCS and get them to reduce my monthly payments before next month's payment is due? They (i.e. CL Finance) got a huge chunk last month because 3 or 4 of my creditors were paid off the month before. Thanks.
