  1. Hi Andy, thanks a lot for your constructive advice/suggestions. I will certainly follow your advice and see what happens. I already know that the premiums are unreasonable, I have other flats in the same area with different landlords and the insurance premiums are a third of what we are being charged. A quick quote online with the same policy details confirms that the charge is 3 times any other competitive quotes. An initial correspondence with the managing agents has suggested that the reason is because the policy covers a portfolio of properties and some other sites had very large claims last year. It seems very unreasonable to me that we are having to foot the bill for claims that are unrelated to our property. Anyway, I will request the information you have suggested and take it from there. I'll let you know how it progresses. Thanks Nick
  2. Hi, I was wondering if the challenge by the orginal poster (mwal) ever came to a conclusion. I have a similar issue with respect to excessive buildings insurance charges from my landlord and I was wondering if you won your case or not? Thanks Nick
