The Court was in agreement with the first instance judge that the issue of liquidated damages for breach of contract could amount to £1,000 in the Appellant's favour. Look at para 42 "I cannot accept that this issue could be worth more than £1,000 at most. Even if that sum was deducted from the Amex claim.."
