  1. Hi DX This was on my credit file under MBNA when i last checked 3 months ago. Another thing to add is that it states on the original letter that they are collecting the debt on behalf of MBNA, not sure what difference this makes. Any suggestions on what the next step should be. I sent a prove it letter and a reply requesting DOB and address confirmation within 10 days. Thx SC
  2. Much appreciated citizen Any advice on what to do with the letter requesting Address and DOB. Thanks SC
  3. Hi citizen I took up the IVA with virgin after several months of being badgered, as it looked like the easiest thing to do, this was in 2007, but in 2008 i lost my job, so it just wasn't possible to pay. That was my last contact with virgin. The last non IVA payment was in 2006. Thx

  5. Hi I am new to the forum and looking for some advice on an old Virgin/MBNA debt. I received a letter from Wescot around 4 weeks ago stating that i need to pay the full outstanding balance of £4,400 withing 7 days or the usual action will be taken, please get in touch etc. etc. I sent a prove it letter to Wescot 2 weeks after getting the original letter, this was then followed up with a request for my DOB and address of account residence, along with date vacated. Plus i had to respond within 10 days. Just to add the last payment on the account was made in late 2006 since then i took up an IVA with them which i last payed in 2008. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks SC
