hello all, i am new to writing on forums so forgive me if im not posting this in the right place, i today have received a letter from Rossendales collect claiming i owe 2539.77 i phoned them and they informed me that the debt went back to 1994. I informed them that i have no recollection of this debt and they then asked me for a payment, as i don't know what it's for i said i would have to get some advise and i wouldn't be paying anything, they then said they would put it on hold for seven days and after that they would expect payment in full. Can anyone help and let me know where i stand on paying or not paying this debt ?
