Hi I am new to the forum, so i am sorry if i have posted this in the wrong section In October 2009 I was involved in an accident where i suffered a badly broken wrist. The other side have admitted liability. I am still recieving lots of different treatments at the moment being paid for privately by the other side insurance. My question is since the accident i have done over 3000 miles traveling to different medical appointments arrising from the accident. My solicester says i can claim this back, and now because we are now finding it finanically hard my solicester is going to put in a request for travel expenses to be paid before the settlement has finished. Does anyone know how they work out the travel expences....ie is it so much per mile, as they havent asked us what our car does per mile ect? Many thanks for your advice and time Denise
