  1. Last night I borded the 283 19:05 from Bradford Interchange to Thornhill (I was stopping off at dewsbury). I showed my pass to the driver and he said "why's it like that?" it was ever so slightly smudged and he claimed that the 2 looked like a 5. I said I had been using it nearly a year and never had a issue. He said it was fraud and that my "luck has just run out" and confiscated my pass (along with my union jack card holder that I personally purchased and means a great deal to me). I tried to take the pass back off him but he wouldn't let me and told me to get security. I got a member of security and then the driver (Dave) said that where the pass was smudged that they do not write in felt tip. It was not felt tip it was fine ink. I would love to know about Arriva's stationary training. I tried to get my pass back again but the security guard said "if he said its fraud then its fraud." While on the bus I contacted metroline, the police, my partner (as I did not feel safe leaving the bus alone) and tried to get through to arriva, however no such luck as arriva are only open monday to friday. As I got off the bus I told Dave that I had contacted the Police. My partner then got on the bus and asked for the pass back. We got the union jack holder back however he shouted "I HAVE BEEN IN THIS INDUSTRY 15 YEARS AND I KNOW A FRAUDULENT PASS WHEN I SEE ONE!" I said I can phone the bank and verify I had paid for the pass but Dave was not interested. He said the only place I am going is the police. At this point I contacted metroline and the police again. The next day I went to dewsbury bus station. They told me to go to the depot. I went to the depot and the man there contacted Dave. Dave has aparantly been told by the inspector at the time to TAKE MY PASS HOME WITH HIM! My pass has all my personal information on which Dave could be using fraudulently now. I have had no choice but to contact the data protection commisioner as my data has been infringed by Arriva. Anyone else had any experiences?
