I am on this this enterprise allowance now for 3 weeks now as they have started paying my £65.00 per week on a weekly basis. I was approved for a loan for £1,000 and have to pay it back over 3 years 1st year is small amount as it is the interest like £7.00 a month, then larger amounts over the next 2 years after. I have advertised for work in cleaning Business but I have so far not has one single enquiry for carpet cleaning. You do get your council tax paid for and rent and the rent people who pay it review you every 3 months but you have to produce Banking statements to them...if you do any work you need to notify them and all money have to go through the Business account as evidence. You get a further interview after say 6 weeks and again they expect you to produce banking statements and other documents. If this does not work after 26 weeks then I believe you can be transfer back to Job seekers allowance. Then your have to apply for work again. The real issues are that most of these small Businesses fail because their is not enough start up money to make it work. People don't have the money to pay anyone and going by what I am going through I cant see it working under the current financial economic situation. But I use to work in the construction industry for over 8 years always working but over the last 2 years most of the work was through agencies and now they hardly call and when they did call work was just 2 days work or one day work. Hardly enough to go off Job seekers for. This situation is just going to go on and on for way over the next 5 years... I don't see an end to any of it before I retire. I am 52 now. But given a much different economic climate the Business could very well work, but always they start these pointless schemes when people don't want to spend their money on these sort of things. But their you have it. The point I want info on is if this does not work for me can I go back on J.S.A. and how long have I got to be on this for?

Well, Metro Bank will be going on the web next year at some point so everyone would be able to apply for an account on line....but I do not know if you can apply for a cash account on line next year as their Branches are so far away...I do not have a Bank account at all Just have to use a pre payed card account that supply a sort code and account number called my cash plus...it's a very bad banking system we have in the U.K.. because most if not all these Banks do refuse you on opening of these Basic account's if you have CCJ's and Default's as I do which I have experience with all of them...so it is not the case that they will open you an account which is basic...as this does prove dispite they continue to mislead us in the fact they don't check...as if this was so they why do they refuse???

Hi, They put me on this enterprise allowance, and I was wanting to know how long do they keep paying my council rent and council tax for at what point do they stop this how many months time...I have just been excepted... Also this loan they give how soon can you apply and do you need to have an excellent credit record to qualify for this loan....I need this loan to but transport to get the job's done so how long before I can use this....as I do not have a car...be please if you could let me know some details as what to expect .....as you said you been on this for a year now....
