  1. Little annoyed now that a day later he hasnt even bothered to send an email back to say either that yes he has received the payslip and it all just progressing as it should, or that there are problems which are being sorted, im not phoning as its a mobile number and im poor lol
  2. Ive just emailed him asking him if everything is okay, i emailed him the day before i sent it off so i would have hoped he would have emailed me back to say if he hadnt received it, just the fact its been 4 weeks and ive not had any contact, how much time does the otherside have to make a counter offer or to accept the original asking price? Because surely if they had come back with another offer then i should be contacted to be asked if i agree or not and that obv hasnt happened so have they not even offered another price? Also the 2 week delay where he then asked for the missing payslip my partner seems to think that they refused his first offer and this is why the solicitor then asked for it, even thou it had been 2 weeks since i sent the payslips i could find off, and also signed paperwork to say i agreed with the amount the solicitor had calculated i had lost.
  3. Have a pi claim from non fault car accident, got paperwork to sign losses wait 2 weeks get phonecall to say solicitor needs missing payslip, found it sent off 4 weeks ago no response is this normal? Should i be getting some sort of update?
  4. Hi again, had my physio and been told that was the last session the insurance company (for the guy who hit me) had authorised even thou the claim is still going on, waiting for the otherside to agree or disagree with the compensation amount, my medical said 6 months recovery that was in sept, dr said by xmas should be okay, i have told the physiotherapist to put in his notes and ask for more sessions (he asked me if i wanted to do this) since i feel i should carry them on until the claim is finalised. I dont know if this is normal?
  5. No i emailed him, he dont work weekends am hoping he will reply today! I found the payslip and sent it off, thats why im confused as i sent what payslips i had at the time, and figured if he needed the lost one he would phone, got paperwork througha few days later with amount of compensation he was going to ask for and losses (time without a car, travel expensives) which i cant remember if the loss of time working was on there or not, but i sure it would have been otherwise why say im going to ask for this amount if he hasnt finished calculating it all?
  6. Ive got a personal injury claim going throught atm, rta not my fault having physio, (not enjoying the bit where i get my back clicked) private paid by other parties insurance, they accepted blame, i sent off payslips to show my solicitor what i had lost compared to other months, got paperwork to sign say he was going to ask for X amount and to sign if i accepted and then another one to say that he had calculated i had lost Y amount in travel costs etc, signed both sent off, wait 2 weeks no news until today i get a call to ask if i have payslip for Z month as its missing (i knew this looked for it everywhere and figured he could cope with all the others they all the same basically) and he cant do the calculations of loss until he has it?? So what was the other 2 lots of paperwork i sent back signed to him? I know there was the loss of having the car and travel expensives and im sure the hrs lost at work were there too, so what calculations does he need to do? Is it because the other party have refused and he has to recalculate? The compensation amount he said on the letter was more than he thought it was worth due to negotiation reasons, anyone have an idea what could be going on? Yes in hindsight i should ask him but at the time i was rushing out the door to work and its now the weekend!
  7. I have a solicitor im just not sure what is meant by mild to moderately severe? Does the compensation go towards the lower end of the scale or the highest? Do they look on it as just being mild? Coz i dont see how being unable to move my arm properly for a week as being mild! And my solicitor wont give me a compensation figure til i send the paperwork back! Also if i disagree with the amount he comes up with what then?
  8. Had my medical report back re car accident rear ended, whiplash which i knew about, she has written it is currently causing mild to moderately severe disability, bit vague isnt it? Have to have an unknown amount of physio and it should start to improve over the next 6 months, no long term problems. Also have pains in my arm/hand which she has basically said the same as above. So how will the compensation be calculated? As mild-moderate?
  9. Just curious Wondering how its all diagnoised, i would think the symptoms would have to go into catogories (sp) as someone's mild whiplash pain could be another's moderate, depending on how well each person copes with the pain. I just wondered how doctors came to the conclusion as to which section each persons whiplash came under?
  10. Hi i wondering if anyone knows how the different grades of whiplash are well graded? Say mild, moderate and severe. What symptoms/time scale would come under mild etc? Hopeful someone has some medical training on here lol
  11. Hiya again Been for the medical was okay more stressful was driving down to it! Dr says i have whiplash (knew that) recovery 3-6 months, have to have more physio also thats gonna be sorted, was having it on nhs so wonder if they will do it private this time? So just gotta wait for the paperwork to be sent to my solicitor then see what happens from there, didnt lie or over exaggerate anything completly honest to how i was feeling, am feeling now, hope they wont take too long to get back to me, would like to see what she put in the computer when she was chatting to me!
  12. I have got a paralegal (i know not quite a lawyer) he sent off paperwork to the insurance company and they got back with that offer basically the same day! My medical is in 12 days just want it over with, then having to wait for the report!
  13. Medical is next month @ The independent General Practice just want to get it over with, cant be any worse than the physio i had today, swear the more i go there the more painful it gets, she was massaging (if thats what you call it) my shoulder today talk about pain!! Wants me to come back in a few weeks and try accupunture.....prob with knitting needles lol!
  14. Ive asked to go for a medical before accepting any compensation (had a non blame rta) im just wondering if anyone had been for one and could explain to me what happens, i hate going into the unknown makes me nervous!
  15. I was involved in a car accident 3 weeks ago someone went into the back of my car, i was stopped he hit me must have been 10-15 mph i dunno it was a good whack, wrote off my car Ive had an offer from the insurers 1,375 for injury claim, (have trapped nerve and had a bad neck which is better than it was but still not fully healed) which is based on 3-4 months recovery time, i refused seeing as i was still in pain, am now going for a medical in september. Since the first offer was based on my physio notes and doctors notes (i would presume) and there are a few more weeks to go before i have the medical and obv im improving all the time, thou still have bad days, would they take into consideration the pain ive already suffered or would they jsut see that im much better and therefore offer me less compensation? Being that i lost a weeks pay and the cost of phonecalls etc, and am still currently going for physio, can they offer less the 2nd time?
