Hi, New to this thread & need advice. I owe £252 in council tax from about 6/7 years ago - a failed pub. I'm now retired, & have failing health. I live in Council Sheltered housing - not the same council - & I'm being really hasseled by Equita. I did try to pay off the debt prior to retiring & managed to reduce it to it's current level from £500. But was unable to continue with payments after retirerment. How do I deal with Equita.......Please!
