  2. Thanks ims.......Have a copy of terms and conditions of the ppi and statements, just cant find the loan agreement/ppi agreement but do have the account no. for it. 3. Hi, new to forum so please be gentle!!! Would like to claim back PPI, took out loan with HSBC at time i was working self employed 14-15 hours per week, but for 3 - 4 clients at a time (I was a registered childminder), so income was good.....when I applied for the loan i explained this to the sales person, face to face in branch. She said that this was ok at technically I was working more than 16 hours as I was working for more than one client. Is this correct??? subsequently my income reduced due to children not needing a childminder any more but my hours stayed the same, when I rang the bank to explain my situation they said that there probably wasnt any point trying to claim on PPI as I was still earning!! I would have had to have stopped working all together to have had to claim and informed inland revenue. Do I have a case?????? Many thanks..... will probably be looking for a bit of help in various areas as since looking on here have discovered that I no nothing about finance!!!
