Wish you all the luck with your court cases I used to work for egg lol and love reading all these posts - knowing them Im not surprised that they are going all the way they like to think themselves better than all the rest and they are not!! Im not quite sure why they think they are going to win when all the other institutions know they wont lol. All the very best for the court cases (if it even gets there)

Hi
Recieved full offer this morning in the process of sending the fax back to accept is it just the line "I agree to keep the fact of my claim and HSBC's ex gratia payment strictly confidential" crossed out?
Thanks for all you help everyone.

Have today recieved my statements back form Bank of Scotland re the credid card we had with them - after being in financial difficulty we agreed a monthly payment plan to pay off the debt with them of £40 per month which we were pleased with as they froze the interest etc.
After recieving the statements this moring it seems that the card/debt was paid off in May 2005 but they kept on collection the monthly payment so unbelievably I find that I am in credit with them to the tune of £593 !! Really annoyed that for so long they have carried on taking the payment without letting us know!!
Also in there before the agreement was in place there were charges of about £200 which i will be going after.
Just curious if anyone knows of anything other than requesting the refund of the credit amount that I can do about this?
Thanks

Hi yes mine was issued on the 24th and acknowledged on the 3rd - recieved half offer yesterday so in some cases it is talking a little longer
-
Dont worry took 5 days for me to get the half offer from D&G after acknowledgememt.
Re the 8% did you put the paragragh in your claim that you intended to claim the 8% if so I would ring moneyclaim and ask what the procedure is and tell then that you intended to claim this but neglected to put it in you actual figure. They may be able to help.

errrr have you not read the forum have you not read the post? yes they are paying out dont think people are posting just for fun!

Hi Summer
Congratulations on the full offer fantastic news - yes my D&G letter has just arrived this morning (the half offer) just in the process of typing a polite thanks but no thanks.
Did you just fax yours or fax and post it? Let us know when your funds arrive be interesting to see how long that takes.
Again WELL DONE!!!
-
Dunno if thats your full story but you seem to have missed a couple of steps but fingers crossed for you anycase (plus the 8% is only claimable for when you raise the case on moneyclaim)
Mine was deemed issed on the 24th Aug and was acknowledged yesterday so you many have a few days wait yet - think its slowing down cause of the volume they are recieving.
Anycase good luck with your claim
-
My claim was issed on the 24th and acknowledged yesterday - not recieved anything from them yet but hope to hear something soon - it does seem to be varying greatly though - taking longer now than it did obviously because of the volume.
-
The claim fee is counted as costs and yes you get them back - mine was over £5k so it cost me £250 to raise the claim - my claim was acknowledged yesterday so eagerly waiting for postman
-
Yay well done Summer perfect timming or what - still waiting for my post to come congratulations on yours though
-
I have to agree with Hannah and I did the same when I got the last letter saying NO and almost thats that I took it that the 14 day rule thing didnt count then because they were classing the matter as closed so I raised my moneyclaim - again this was my personal choice its upto you what u do
-
LOL go get em finally had mine acknowledged today so hoping a letter soon.
-
Yep its acknowledged same as yours - instead of watching the monyclaim site now we have to wait for posty hopefully
-
Woohoo about time - just checked mine and it also has been acknowledged this afternoon be interesting to now see what happens.
-
Well done should be an offer soon then mine done same say as yours and still not acknowledged
Hope post man has nice offer for you soon
-
Hi Summer
Just checked and no change im in kind of the same boat we go on holiday in 3 weeks and the claim took a good chunk of the spending money so really keen to see something happen for us both
-
Have you tried ringing DG just to see if it is there - or would that be tempting fate being as you are so close to judgement by default?
-
Hi Summer - hating this bl**dy waiting game so I rang DG solicitors this morning to see if they had got my claim - apparantly it had only arrived this morning with them :o they wouldnt give me any more details unfortunatley cause as she stated she is dealing for the bank - dunno whether I did the right thing or not I guess time will tell but this is doing my nut in lol will let u know if anything changes
-
Thank you Summer - got fingures crossed for both of us - have a great fews days if i dont speak to you before
-
Good luck with your claim Danny welcome to the Moneyclaim watchers club lol.
Yeah Summer I suppose that is the case re the interest - although I really wish they acknowledge your claim asap would still be interetsing to see what happens when you get the judgement by default and if you havent heard by Saturday morning (although I think this highly unlikely) I will so eagerly be watching the threads through Sunday lol

I think its just the amount they are recieving now means that it is taking longer for them to get round to everyone my MCOL was issued on the 24th July but not ack until 3rd August so I think you have a few days left yet probably about middle of next week till acknowledged but they will and you will get your money back FD are one of the best for paying up
