  1. no, i bought it on the 7th april and the car was fine for that full month, then round the 2nd week of may the exhaust box came off so i rang and was told it was up to em to fix, which i did a week after that the full pipe for the exhaust had to be replace and i had to buy a clamp to put on too. (again the garage i got it from didnt want too know) 2weeks after that the front drop link needed replaceing, then after that the front chamber i think its called needed replacing.. i paid all these replairs because the man in the garage woulnd answer my calls or speak to me in person when i went there. about 2days after the chamber was fixed i drove it home from the mechanic who fixed it and the full engine just blew on the car, smoke coming out of everywhere possible. ive wrote letters, tried speaking in person and on the phone, and ive rang consumer direct who said i can get the car repaired and that the garage i got it from should pay the repairs (which they wont ther ignoring me completley) so i now owe £500 out this time, plus ive already paid all the other repairs
  2. yeah everytime and they said wear and tear i had to fix, which i did because i know parts need replacing on cars, but i am know a lot of money out of pocket by hundreds of pounds and the garage i got it from are refusing to even speak to me or reply to of my letters now
  3. i bought a car 7th april, for £2000 from a dealer. the car is an 02 reg peugot 206. because of my age my insurance is high to begin with, for the first month (which is how long the warrenty on the car was for i was told) the cra was fine, 2weeks later in the garage for repairs, so far its hand 2 sections of exhaust repaired, a front drop link, a chamber in front, which all together cost about £150 to replace. now approx just over 2weeks ago the engine has completley gone, and needs to be repaird, all together this replacement is goign to cost round £500, after a sending 2 letters, speaking to consumer direct and in person to the dealer im no futher forward, after doing research im under the impression the dealer is responsable for the car and any repairs needed for the first 6month under the sales goods act 1979, yet the dealer refuses to accknowlegde this and states that legally there is a one month gaurentee, does anyone have any information on where i go with this next?
