Bennetts are definitely con artists. I called up 3 months prior to renewal date and asked to have it turned off. I was told: i) the request may not be processed in time ii) if I make any changes to the policy automatic renewal will be be re-enabled without asking for my approval iii) I should call up after receiving the renewal latter and tell them again that I don't want to renew. I told them I have a record of the call and will see them in court if they try anything.
