Hi My friend just recently lost his phone during a holiday abroad. We tried contacting Orange for the entire evening and night but we were put on hold and couldn't get through to the stolen phone reporting (which incurred me quite some overseas call charge!!) We were able to bar the SIM the next morning but the phone had been used during the evening and night... which incurred £50 bill. Orange says he is liable to pay the £50 incurred because he failed to report the phone stolen. However, we made every attempt to report the phone stolen, it's Orange who failed to answer our calls! Is this really fair and "legal"? Thanks.
