  1. Thanks dx However having a look at the original contract between myself and tff it does not state that any debt collection agency who has potentially and legally brought the debt have the right to add on interest and fees.
  2. Hey all, I took out a loan with tff over 14 months ago and was using the roll over option until i started suffering with health problems 11 months ago and it went out of my head. I did not hear a peep until august this year where i received a email from ndr stating that the debt had risen to £1200 the next day i received a email from marshall hoares stating that they now legally owned the debt and to repay now. I argued stating that i received no communications from ndr until near a year later who charged £350.00p to take the case on yet did not bother to contact me and try to resolve the case. Marshall Hoares then given me a list of breakdown charges & state that they did contact me which they did not and are now claiming over 2k. I have now told them that i wish to settle this matter in court. My point is once the loan is legally handed and brought by a debt collection agency do they have the right to keep charging you interest and fees? Advice Appreciated As Always LostSoul01
  3. Hey all A whole year has passed since i last posted, I finally managed to repay all these scummy PDL off seven of them totaling over 3k. Or so i thought ! Since paying all the pay day loans off i have suffered with health problems but have been slowly getting to my feet gradually and feeling good of finally being rid of these dirty PDL companies constantly hounding me. However two weeks ago i received a email from marshall hoares stating that i owed £1700.00p this email did not have no date included nor did the email state who it was collecting on behalf so i ignored it. Five days after i received this original email along comes a email from tooth fairy finance ( Whom i took a loan with over a year ago ) stating that i owed that amount from a original loan of £300.00p taken out over 1 year ago and the same email kept coming through over the past week and i kept ignoring it. After thinking long and hard i did not repay the full loan amount back but wonder why it has taken over a year to contact me regarding this. I received a threatening letter from tff over the past few days however stating i owe them not £1700.00p but £260.00p and states the usual threats of bailiffs ect. I sent them a email accepting the debt but explained to them that i cannot repay in one repayment as i am not currently in employment. At the moment i am finding it confusing how in a couple of days £1700.00p becomes £260.00p A LARGE REDUCTION. And coming back on here and seeing that the company has had its licence revoked puts me in limbo as i am unsure as to weather or not i start to make payments ??? Once again i would be very appreciative of any advice All My Best LostSoul01
  4. Hi CAGERS As i have explained before regarding my debt with these bunch of idiots which now stands at £600.00p. How long Before Mini Credit pass on your file to a debt recovery company? ( I heard that they use a company called fredricksons? ) If so what are they like regarding repayment plans. Your advice is well appreciated just getting depressed after i received a first letter from them stating that if payment was not made by 24th they will send a debt collector. Obviously i cannot repay £600.00p odd in one hit. Once again advice needed thanks to all.
  5. Hi oh ffs. Scare tactics or not what they are doing is wrong as they clearly state the account is in the hands of Debt Recovery and therefore should add no further interest or fees as the account has been brought or passed on. Proof? Try printing a daily sheet of your added fees after the account reads debt recovery and tell them to explain this to a judge. Hi sillyGirl1 hope your well. Your advice would be much appreciated if i can put this point across. Mini Credit sent out letters for example Mr Jones and there is two Mr Jones residing at the same address. Am i well within my rights to complain to Mini Credit that i wish for my first initial to be put on when sending postal letters to my address for example again Mr H Jones. Would appreciate your advice on this please as i wish to keep my debt personal. Thanks Again.
  6. Hi Again oh ffs Just want to pick you up on this. I'd be very surprised if the debt has been passed on at this stage. Mine has stated 'debt recovery' for about 2 months yet MC are the ones I've been dealing with. This is the exact point i am trying to make is that once your status on their website reads 'Debt Recovery'. This means that they have either sold or passed on your account/file to a third party in order to recover the money owed and therefore have no right to add more charges or fees as the account/file has been sold/Passed onto a debt recovery service. It is not our fault if they cannot be quick enough to instruct a debt recovery service to peruse the debt but once Mini Credit deems your account to debt recovery as stated on the site then all charges owing to that account should cease from the point/day that they state your account is now with debt recovery services. Do you follow? All the best.
  7. Hi oh ffsI think people are missing the point i am trying to make here. The point is that once your status reads 'DEBT RECOVERY' as it states on their website then no further charges or fees should be added to the balance as the debt has been passed on or sold to a third party debt recovery service. Does anyone understand the point i am trying to make here?
  8. All i am pointing out is that i believe it classes as 'False and Misleading' and 'unethical' for the point being made above. I realize that you owe them 1 month plus the original loan amount but surely the point i raise is a valid one of that.
  9. Hi asmilecostsnothing thanks for the reply. Ah yes they can claim this but if that is the case how comes the price goes up automatically every day? I would urge all in the same boat to do what i do and take a picture or print copies on a daily basis.
  10. Hi asmilecostsnothing thanks for the reply. Ah yes they can claim this but if that is the case how comes the price goes up automatically every day? I would urge all in the same boat to do what i do and take a picture or print copies on a daily basis.
  11. Hi Guys thanks for the replies. What i am trying to get at here is that for example my account reads 'DEBT RECOVERY' and the balance on this account reads say £786.90p on the 12-12-2011. And then two weeks later reads £1189.00p on the 01-01-2012. Am i right in thinking that the company cannot do this as the debt in there words has been passed on to debt recovery agents and therefore the loan has been sold or passed on to debt recovery agents on or before the 12-12-2011. I for one find this as a serious breakthrough if i am correct for people in the same boat as me by being crippled and crushed by these sharks. As this proves that this company is telling lies and would not stand a chance in a court of law would like silly girls view on this please as i believe i have found a glitch in there Armour. Thanks for the replies once again all god bless.
  12. Anyone who has a idea on my original question? Please help me out.
  13. Hi All. Had a loan from these sharks over two months ago of £110.00p but come the date agreed could not afford to repay the loan back due to unforeseen circumstances. The interest and charges soon started rolling in and come the next payday you guessed it i could not afford to repay there extraordinary charges in a matter of a month for a £110.00p loan which i received £85.00p after there so called service charge i logged onto the account to find that it stands at £347.00p which i could not afford in one payment i was asking for a repayment arrangement in which i basically got told i had more chance winning the lottery. Today the balance stands at over £500.00p which i cannot repay. However i logged on to my account a week ago and my status read 'DEBT RECOVERY' and the balance then was £450.00p now what i would like to ask a more experienced member is that do these crooks have the right to add on more daily fees once the status has reached Debt Recovery status and hence has passed or sold the debt to another company? Your advice would be most appreciative.
  14. Hi all i have tried contacting these morons for 14 days via email as i wish to keep all conversations recorded. I have found many email addresses but none of which worked for me. Can anyone please send me a email address that is working and one in which i will get a response from. Your help would be most appreciated. Thanks Guys and Girls
  15. Thanks for both replies both very much helpful and appreciated. I guess what i am trying to say is that whats the first step with these people the debt recovery team. Do they write to you first? Or do these people just turn up and demand you give them the money because i have a feeling the family know something is up and i just do not want these people turning up and making demands. I can handle it if these people write to me and i will deal with it on my next pay date but any other things like turning up on my doorstep and i am finished. Also when spoke with 247 Money Box today they said the process is very quickly dealt with in other words there going to send a letter or come banging at me door pretty soon how long does it usually take to process something like that? Thanks as always guys.
  16. Thanks for the reply fully appreciated. I have already gone through a account manager with 247 Money Box but today he contacted myself saying unless you can repay today they cannot do anything else. I said whats the next step? There response was that it will be passed on to debt collection & recovery agents to COME TO MY HOUSE AND RECOVER THE GOODS TO THE VALUE OWED. I do not want this happening i just want a letter first and then pay off a.s.a.p. if they come to my house then i am in a lot of trouble. Please Advise. Thanks
  17. Evening All I have had a few problems in repaying back the above company i have been given three chances to repay this loan off but due to unforeseen circumstances have not. I emailed them over the weekend just gone stating that i could not repay them until my next pay day which is the end of may. They said this is not acceptable and my case is now going to be passed over to debt recovery agents & i could go to court over this. I am ashamed in the first place for taking the loan out and gradually dug myself in a deeper hole. My question is to all is what are debt recovery agents? I do not want these people knocking at my door as i live with family who do not know about the loan and i fear i would get thrown out if they found out. I will repay the Loan on my next payday but what can i expect until then? Advice would be much appreciated thanks
  18. Hi guys just a quickie I have been told by 247 Moneybox as my loan is overdue that my account will be passed on to doorstep collectors. I do not wish for this to happen as i have not told a soul family wise. What is the chances that these people will show up? And would they write to you (The door step collectors) and try to agree a repayment before this happens? Once again advice will be fully appreciated. Thanks
  19. Hi Tom and thanks very much for the reply. The thing is first off regarding the bank account i have a £500.00 overdraft and at the moment i go up to that every month. So very hard to get out of that situation until i get on top of things. Maybe get a new basic bank account and as soon as my money goes through withdraw or transfer? Secondly i have never heard of these company's allowing you to make 6-12 monthly plans the most i have managed to get is four months. What scares the hell out of me though Tom and to all reading is that as i said i am only 22 and currently live with my parents i do not want them to find out and i certainly do not want people knocking on the door to collect stuff to recover the debt that i am truly frightened of. Does anyone know the steps or proceedings these companies take before them ending up on my doorstep?
  20. Hi all first time post long time lurker. I currently have 5 Pay day loans four of which i have agreed repayment plans and also 1 debt recovery but i have also made a repayment plan with that firm. I am a 22 year old who has recently got myself into uncontrollable debt -£1800- i work full time but i do feel my job may be at a end soon due to medical reasons and my medical condition has only allowed me to work a certain number of hours each week still full time but no overtime. The pay day loans i have out are - Pay Day Express = £560.00p Wonga = £500.00p 247 MB = £250.00P Lending Stream = £330.00p Wage Day Advance = £80.00p I have managed to set up monthly repayment plans with all accept for pay day express who just do not seem to care about the situation and financial difficulty i find myself in. I have emailed them many times explaining my financial difficulty and asking to set a repayment plan up i could just about to afford to repay £65.00p this month which will leave me £30.00p to live off for the month but they still will not accept any ideas on what to do now and how to approach? As i have made claer to them it is in my intentions to repay pde as soon as possible but they either do not reply or say the offer is not enough. HELP
