Hello, Has anyone had any problems with Lombard Finance or am I really just very unlucky?. I bought a car through them after THEY had HPI checked the vehicle and told me all was clear and to go ahead and purchase the vehicle. The Police arrived at my door 2 weeks later to check it as it might be stolen???!!. It was a stolen vehicle and it was taken away, so I rang Lombards and explained. They wrote and told me they wanted the £11,000 plus the interest plus fees. The interest rate was 3.9% a letter today says its now 9.3%! YET IT WAS FIXED?. Can anyone please advise me on this, as my solicitor has said ive got to pay it. The car was a private sale who has vanished as in a conman kind of vanished. Heres hoping someone has something positive about this nightmare!. Cheers.
