What a god send this site is... Well here is the deal: Prelim sent 24th July 2006 LBA sent 7th Aug 2006 MCOL sent 9th Aug 2006 (after they told me that there was no way i'd get any money back) Today I have received a letter from DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary who act for the Abbey... They are preparing the bank's response. They have noted that I am claiming the sum of £333.07 but also want to know about the £18.19 I have added (8% interest) . Apparently I have not provided details as to how this figure was calculated. Could some one let me know what they have sent back to respond? Also the 8% increases the longer it goes on so do I recalculate it and advise them of the increase? Any help would be really appreciated on this Thanks in advance
  5. Hello there I am in the process of sending off the SAR as my statements only go back to 2004 (and my total charges already come to 2,020! Made me feel quite sick) Anyway, I transferred all my DDs over to a new cahoot account in March this year and have kept my Smile account ticking over... I am in the Smile overdraft (460od out of 500)... Do you think I should make repaying this overdraft back my priority before they get nasty? Also do you think I should carry on with asking for the rest of the statements from Smile? 2,020 is already a big amount and I am very shocked already. Thanks in advance Sam
