  1. Thank you all so much for your advice.Best i find myself a good employment lawyer and keep my fingers crossed i have enough to hit them where it hurts. All could have been avoided if only for negotiation.Thank-you again.
  2. Ihave been off sick since 6th September.Under my previous contract i would have been paid sick pay for 26 weeks,so i would still be getting full pay.Hope tea was good.Thanks.
  3. Ok got that don't resign. No consultation at all until i queried non payment of sick pay when i had a day off sick and would not have been told about annual holiday allocation until year was over and i had taken too much resulting in unpaid leave!Under my previous agreement i was entitled to 26 weeks full sick pay. This had always been honoured in previous years. The company have not contacted me with regards to my health since Early November until today. Thank you any advice is greatly appreciated.
  4. I am employed as a manager but am at present off sick with depression mostly bought on by my employers.I have been off since Sept and doc says could be another couple of months yet. This morning i got a letter asking for a return date or regignation. My grievence with my company has been put on hold while i am off. I was employed by one employer for 10 years and was transferred to my current employer 5 years ago and in the past all my holiday allocations has been allowed and any sick pay,mid june last year on a query with my day ooff sick i was told don't honour TU.PE agreements any more so no sick pay and i was to loose 8 days holiday.I have had no increase in wages for 5 years and now they wants to take away what equates to approx£600.This aggtevation and the cut in my staffs hours and added pressures at work resulted in myselt having a bit of a 'craking up'session. Do i resign?do i wait to be sacked?do i just plod along and see what happens.I have been offered a part time job to start in March with much less stress and pressure, can i take this and still try for constructive dismissal the wage drop will be approx£15,000 pa. Thanks.

Hi,thanks have contacted council figures are correct not made up by baliffs.Mum and Dad live in cottage next to pub, they were denied ascess to pub to list but went into cottageand made listings including car on pub car park.....dad signed this(i know he has probably cooked his own goose here). The company is listed as ltd!Hope this helps. Thank you. Only now does he decided to take his head out of the sand!
  6. I am new to this and asking on behalf of my parents. They as a company both are directors(though no wages for 2 months)of a public house.Unfortunately due to a downturn intrade and weather business is bad and dad has not paid business rates since September and un beknown to us all adopted head in sand theory! Baliffs arrived yesterday but were refused entry to the pub! The bill is for business rates which is a company but the bill has only dad's name on it..........they have made a list of things from their house that they want to seize including their car....and some that were parked in the car park!(We understand they cannot take these). Can they take mum and dads personal belongings for a company debt and their car? They will go away if dad pays £3000 debt is £6500. Help mum is devestated and dad seems like a broken man.Unfortunately i have no funds to bail them out or i would.
