  1. went into the branch today, and asked if they could give me details of the old account, explained to the girl at the desk I needed it for information so I could retrieve previous statements, she has ordered the statements for me, I also got a receipt for my £5 and asked her to mark clearly on the receipt what it was for. so now the ball is rolling I hope
  2. Not sure if this the correct section but hopefully helps someone, I am starting a dispute with both RBOS and Halifax for charges, I went to my local clydesdale bank and explained to them I needed a bank account, I know the staff in there and told them the truth why I needed a new bank account, and told them I also had adverse credit. The bank manager told me to apply with clydesdale bank for a basic account, the result would be that I would have a switch card and NO credit check would be done. although there would be no overdraft on the account. hopefully this information is true, and can help others whom feel they cant open a new account. z
  3. I had an account with rbos Over the first 3 months it was open i raked up charges of £268.00 not alot of money in comparission with alot of others here. I have now defaulted my account and this shows with experian and equifax. if I get my charges back will they be forced to remove this record from my credit report? will keep you all informed as I progress thanks z
