Donkey sorry for delay in replying. I have been out of the country since april 1 went to falkland island. I think hfo has gave up on me. That account has well passed it status barred date. What I am fighting them now for is the default they put on my credit file. They have altered the original date barclay card put on. Wrote to them on many occasion for some explaination but no reply. Anyway advice to tackle them on the issue will be much appreciated. A big thank you to you and all the good people on this forum.

Good people any advice or ideas how to tackle HFO again. I had issues with HFO about my barclay card debt i cca and sent them every document as advice on this forum but HFO still failed to respond to my requests. This account subsequently became Statute barred 23 Feb 2011. I then sent HFO a statute barred letter 01 April 11 still no reply from them. Recently i requested my credit report from experian and found that HFO had put a default on it 01 MAY 2007. This is second time this happen. The first default was put on by Barclaycard around 2003. I got the prove of the default letter sent by barlcay when i cca them during the dispute with HFO. Any adviceon how to take on HFO to remove this default will be very welcome.letter template will be very helpful tooThanks

they suggest I can also make a complaint to credit services association the trade association for the debt collection industry of which hfo is a member. O And finiancial service ombudsman thought I share these information cos we are all on this together!

I have recieved the sar from barclays and the default notice is in writing. I still have not recieve the cca from hfo. I have also sent them account in dispute letter 2weeks ago but still no reply. What do I do with them how can hold them back till after 23 march. What if they commence legal action. Finaly can I write to hfo and ask them to explain the disparity with account sale date? Cheers

Advice please I recieved a default notice document this morning from bc dated 8 July 2003. Now with this document in hand can I send hfo a sb letter? Note they was a payment on the account 23 feb 2005 I did not make that payment myself bc saw some money in my Bank account and decided to pay bc without my consent. Also bc told me they sold the account to hfo 26 June 2007. This contradict hfo date they told me they bought it 11 July 2009.

Good evening guys and Donkey thanks for the advice much appreciated. I now remember the events surrounding the payment to my barclay card 23 feb 2005. I did not make that payment myself. Before 23 feb 2005 my barclay card was defaulted ages go because i did not keep up with payments. Then 23 feb 200 Barclays card forcefully transfered funds from my barclay current account to barclay cards. At the time i quried this but they said it is within their right to do it. So with regards to this: where do i stand with SB? I asked barclays to give me the details of who they have transfered the debt to and when the tranfered took place but they have not. Advice please! Received the sar from barclays today. Account was suspended January 2005. The last time I made payment to them was 23 feb 2005. Last statement barclays sent me was dated 21 march 2007. Closing balance of £1329.02. I have asked barclays to provided me details of when they sold the account to hfo but they have not provided this information. What should I do? I recevied an acknowledgement letter from oft about my complaint against hfo. Also a form to fill the form is called permission to disclose complaint. Look forward to your advices. Thanks

Yea I sent the account in dispute letter 14 feb track and trace it and it has been recieved.

Wimbledon monkeys has got nerves to ring me today after they still failed to respond to my cca letter after cca and a complaint harassment letter. I told the lady I do not wish to discuss anything with them on a phone. I remind her that I have communicated to them that I do not wish to be contacted by phone. If she has anything to say she can communicate to me in written format. She went quite and never say a thing. Guys have I done the right thing? Yours help are graciously welcome.

I am having issues with hfo any advise please! They contact me 12 last month telling me that I owed them money from a barclay card debt. Yes I had a bcard and defaulted 2003 never made any payment since and bcard never chase me. A lady from hfo rang my work address herself as a lawyer acting for me. She ask for my line manager name and number. I told her not contact me at work but she still continue. Two weeks a ago she rang my line manager asking for a statement of earning from our hr. But my line manager refuse to any details. Because I am in RAF and the military takes this thi ga serious my line manager then told my commander office who had me in his office demanding to know what was going on. This lady from hfo also email me a copy of my land registry document and ecopy of my credit file. I have cca them and a complaint letter to them and sar barclay card, also sent a complaint letter to oft and my mp for harassment and reputational damage. Please any advice?
