Hi i hope someone can help me,im a carer for my mum whos disabled and i look after her all day Me and my partner went to an electrical store looking for a fidge freezer the store offered finance which was perfect for me as im only in reciept of carers allowance and income support when the finance company done the credit check on me they declined my application and i have a good credit rating i went home and checked my credit report with credit expert & the credit refrence agency that the finance company used and both said there was no reason why i shouldn't get credit i have no adverse credit history and i have never had any late payments or anything the man who done it said that it could be because i wasnt in full time employment. so after checking my credit report i suspect that it is because im not in full time employment. Now that carers are covered by the DDA am i right in thinking that companys are not allowed to reject me just for that reason i have sent them a letter today asking them what the reason was as to why they declined my application. If anyone can help me please
