  1. No contact from Sky but i have received a letter from Past Due Credit solution for £8.05 for their client BSkyB. What should my next course of action be, should it be a stern letter to Sky or a response to Past credit. I do not want to pay the sum has i do not know if i will be liable for further amounts.
  2. Just emailed them now asking why the complaint has not been addressed. Will see what their reply is. Received a text from PDCS this morning who are associated with Sky so wondering if they have farmed it out already.
  3. Just had a text message from these guys asking me to ring them urgently with a reference number. No other information what a bunch of cowboys.
  4. Hi They would just not see they were wrong via Email which is why i had produced the complaints letter outlining what the charges should be as per my deal when i returned. They never got back to me with this letter even though i have the recorded slip showing they have signed for it. I will do a follow up letter but what timescale should i give them for a reply
  5. Basically i went back to Sky on a half price offer. They messed up the bill and tried to change the terms with me been overcharged by £15 and then 1x4 months half price then another 1 x6 months only if i emauiled them and requested. This was after numourous emails about the issue. I cancelled the direct debit and wrote a complaints letter to them, signed for on the 26/01/12. Since then my services have been suspended and i received a letter requesting the incorrect payment (which sky admit themselves in the emails is wrong) or further action would be taken. This was received early February and i have not heard anything further since. What action should i now take since i have nothing to say this matter is closed and which regulatory body to i go to. I am expecting a breach of contract letter with hugh charges soon and would like to put this to bed before it comes to that. I am seeking to pay what is owed up to the date they suspended my services only at the rate i went back on with possible compensaton for the letters emails etc. I have no intention of staying with Sky. I beleive they have breached the contract by knowingly overcharging me and still expecting me to pay it. Thanks
  6. Letters now uploaded as PDFs. 2 questions now 1 How do i go about getting my charges returned to me 2 What is the best way to continue this since they seem to be ignoring the fact i have wrote to them may times trying to arrange a payment plan of which they have never acknowledged. in fact they see the payments i have made as underpayments on the account. They must be breaching the guidelines that the OFT imposed on them back in January so do i now bypass MBNA once the default is issued or do i next to to MBNA and dispute the account till this matter is resolved. MBNA 1b.pdf MBNA 2b.pdf
  7. Sorry for the delay have been on sick. Here are the letters dated 6Th October. Am hoping to put something together by Wednesday so help would be appreciated.
  8. since June of this year i have informed MBNA that i cannot keep up my repayments on my Virgin CC. Current debt is £7700+ and rising. !st i sent a letter. Then i sent in an income expenditure form. Next was another cover letter and another income expenditure form. Lastly i sent a cover letter another income expenditure form and 2 of the previous letters including Proof of Postage. I have made 3 payments July,August,September as per my 2nd cover letter. They seem to be ignoring this fact though and keep sending me letters stating i have must pay the arrears (over £1200) and the payments i have been making have been underpaid. Today i received a notice with the intent to place a default on the account and i have 30 days to pay the arrears. Obviously phoning these people will be a waste of time. What are my next options reguarding this matter., how do i go about forcing the issue with them and when can i reclaim interest/Charges from since i have informed them over my difficulties. Any input happily received
  9. The confusion i have now though is that the loan is now run by Santander and no longer has the benefits or can be controlled through my Cahoot account. Cahoot pass me to Santander on the issue and Santander pass me back to Cahoot. No one seems to have control over the issue. From what i believe Cahoot is still a seperate entitiy from Santander and still has its own department. Does moving the loan to Santander breech any conditions i may have had. I know it is a complicated issue which i am asking the best way to proceed. Have they effectively sold it to a 3rd party by moving it to Santander customer services. Recently i missed a payment for a Santander CC and they would not let me pay from my Cahoot account only from a santander account this also makes me believe that are still a sperate unit.
  10. Hi I am looking to close my account with Cahoot but i have a flexiloan outstanding which it will be a long time before i can pay off. Since they have removed this service from my account am i still tied into cahoot with it (ie can the demand full repayment if i close my account). I see only negatives now with banking at Cahoot (Difficult to get money in quick as no fast pay, counter payments etc leading to unnessecary charges). I admit i used to use my cahoot flexiloan as a buffer to avoid fees by transferring money back aand forth as required thos has now no longer become an option.Cahoot seem to be ignoring my concerns over the availability to transfer funds quickly to stop fees etc and they do not see it has a problem. I would rather move to the Nationwide account i have(one i opened for free cash withdrwls etc) where i can take more control over my financies since they have Branches. Cahoot used to be good but the information they now supply reguarding Direct debits etc is non existant now
  11. I just don't know what is going on now. Received a statement of Account 01/12/09 - 30/11/10 It just list the dates of payments made and no over details. One thing i noticed is that the Date Of Posting does not relate to the Standing order date and is a week later in most cases. The letter is dated 30/11/10 and does not in any way refer to an oustanding debt, it does not even have an amount next to it of outstanding dues like most statements. At least i have the account number now if anything else. I only hope the SAR produces more information will kn ow to keep this now in case it goes to court just to show the kind of information i receive from them.
  12. Thanks for the reply weather permitting the SAR will go out today. Since my last conversation with them when i disputed the amount before i posted on here i have surprisingley not had a phone for the 1st time in weeks. They tend to ring before 8:30 in the morning as well. I cannot believe though how they can ring me and tell me that i still owe them money and yet the person doing the call amazigley has no access to my account and cannot tell me why the sum is there.Hopefully the SAR will bring out some information and should make enjoyable reading. I will post further as/when i receive further information reguarding the SAR or any notice from the Funding Corporation.
  13. Hi Hope this is in the correct place will give a quick history. Took out Home buyers loan with Jump August 2000 10 years at £90.23. Loan transfered to the funding corporation 2005 standing prder set up by them (£90.23)finished august 2010. Receiving calls from them recently (ignored cause i believed they were just trying to sell me something since i believed loan to be finished. Received a call from a mobile (funding corporation in disguise) spoke to them to discover they are saying account is in debit by over £1400. Disputed this immediately but they would not tell me what the sum was for and started saying they would put the account into default and would supply no information about debt only until it came before the courts. Awaiting call back now to hear what they come up with. Only 2 payments missed (1 with jump and 1 with funding corporation bot were paid up). Problem i have now is lack of paperwork since i thought the loan was done and dusted. Can they take me to court without supplying any information over what the outstanding sum is for.If so will i have trouble fighting it with no paperwork on my side. Is the burdon of proof on them they say it would be up to me to prove i have paid not up to them.
