Savilles the landlords got rid of UKCPS on a saturday,and replaced them with this new lot the following day, Either Savilles are very concerened about parking issues,which none of the store managers have ever complained about,or they were concerened about losing their revenue stream from this new source of income. In fairness to the new lot,they are a lot more customer friendly than UKCPS,they actually pop into the stores sometimes and ask people to move cars,rather than ticketing them,and the number of customers coming back into the store complaining has dropped by about 90% As posted above,just ignore the invoices,ive got a whole collection of them,nothings ever happened ,I see it as a job creation scheme ,at least it keeps them off the dole. A trip to court would be interesting, I asked ukcps many times to fulfill their promise of a summons,but they never did. Care parking have now stopped ticketing my car,I presume they have decided its a waste of their paper and sticky envelopes. For people not familiar with this car park,UKCPS repainted the markings ,some areas have white lines and some have blue. If you park in a blue square,you "contractually agree" to park for no more than 2 hours,if you use a white square you can stay all day,the squares outside my shop were all changed to blue,all the shop staff on the site were told (by ukcps) they must use the white areas at the extreme end of the car park,and if they use blue they will be ticketed. For anyone interested in this site,at Elk retail park Oldham,Lancs, Ukcps have been removed from the site by the landlords (savilles) after about 4 months of aggressive ticketing and harrasment of customers. yesterday It was a pleasure to watch the UKCPS oiks having to remove every one of their signs (and there were a lot of them) If any one has any "invoices" relating to this site I think we can now safely ignore them. I have quite a few colourful invoices for parking outside my own store! Is any one aware of similar actions at other savilles sites?(eg aintree retail park) Store manager
