Hi all have worked out owed nearly £4000 plus %.offered £990,keep puting off next move it seems so complicated,have gone through loads of threads and facs but I am worried I will do it wrong,I start the online court then stop and go back to read more threads,need a push to move forward any advice please,feel im so close and got so far !

Hi was about 2 ask the same queston,I am about 2 go 2 court,offered £997,refused got letter back forget it no more offers,so got statements they owe about £3500,+interest,next step seems hard work spread sheets,interest 2 work out,then court,and will I win?has anyone beat barclays,?

At long last statements arrived this week,more like 60 days than 40.spent all afternoon on them,was offered £997 refused,recieved 3 line letter saying no more offers.turns out they owe me £3485,then there is the 8% time after time referel charges of £20 or £25 as many as 5 in 1 month,pure robbery.I didnt even know what this referel charges meant,I was originally just looking for the words bank charges.Have started to read small claims pack which I recieved this week,bit confusing but it states try one more letter and offering say to accept less ie £3000,should I or go to court for full amount or try to do a deal,apparently if it went to court the judge would be encouraged to see such a letter,mmmmm hard work hope its all going to be worth it.

First offer refused,£997,next letter push off,or court,now its court,bit scared,statements came today well over 40days,scared about spread sheets,and 8per cent,help please,

Have not had much post or e mails for a couple of weeks ,but had letter off TSB saying this is our final letter send no more letters we have said all we intend to say,woooooo! also Barclays have not sent statements after 2 months,have writen and Tel but was told they r busy, will now complain to DPA,as way over 40days,feeling a bit deflated ,I refused £997 so I know I should carry on but what now,how can I go 2 court with no statements,disheartened!

Sorry new to this,I just wrote to Barclays with step 1 and step 2 letters as advised,I also said as I only had 12months of statements I would send £10 for 6 years of statements,it was Barclays who after letter 2 came up with the £997 figure,I am awaiting statements soon as the 40 days will be up then,am interested to know how the £997 figure compares with the full amount they do owe me.

Hi, Barclays offered me £997 after 2 letters,I have requested statements but have not recieved yet time up in about 4 days,did ring them they said very busy will send soon,Mmmm,so without this information I dont think I can start court proceedings or can I?also saw in other thread chap said he had been offered about £900,but was going for well over £3000 with interest,could this mean my final offer could be this figure,heaven knows in 6 years they have had me many times,or is it just coincidance we were offered this amount to start with,confused

Hi,after 2 letters Barclays offered £997,after reading other posts refused,had not recieved statements but presumed this was half of full refund,reply came very short ,but not sweet,more or less push off final offer,have now rang to see why delay on statrments was told very busy would arrive in 2 weeks,very scary but will carry on to court,am also taking on 4 other banks,Sainsburys paid in full after 2 letters so its a start,other banks doing delay tactics,egg bieng very slow.

Hi all Abbey have been very slow due to pressure I suppose,now recieved a letter offering £70 in 1 account £100 in another,which they have put in my bank,did not accept this as waiting for dpa statements,had to ring and spoke to chap,seemed helpfull but is off for a few days now so said he would get back to me,they must owe me hundreds,but I feel they are useing delay tactics,also taking on 4 other banks all at different stages quite scary but worth the hard work if it comes off.

Yes they are but I didnt send them recorded,as they have offered £997,does that mean that is half the amount they owe or was it just an amount they came up with

daily mail today article about courts freezing claims, as a big claim at large court hearing could could decide further outcome for banks,any thoughts, I am dealing with 5 banks(like a full time job)very scary,Sainsburys paid out after 2 letters,Barclays offered£997,refused and was going to court as they refused me full amount ,now im worried,other banks not playing at all just delaying tactics.:-?

Thanks your right have taken on to much,just thought I better get in there before it all goes pear shape,and banks find a way out of paying out.

Hi have read lots of info from sight,and plenty of threads really helpfull,am taking on 5 banks,Sainsburys paid up £297 after 2 letters,Barclays offered half at £997,refused felt sick,letter back saying sorry full refund refused take us to court ,really am sick now,waiting for statements then will start court proceedings,should I have accepted first offer, other banks still sending forget it type letters,Egg,TSB,and cahoot bieng really stubborn.and MBNA just ignoring me.any advice:?

Hi have just started trying to claim back my money from 6 banks before they find a loop hole,think I might have took on 2 much,but after 2 letters got back £285 from Sainsburys,all other banks doing the usual fobing me off letters,but I just keep writing back,egg are bieng really curt and stubbon has any one won with them yet,will keep informed and send donation,
