I know this is a bit late but Dukes Baliffs are not in fact, balifs. They do offer balif services which is not the same thing. A balif can only be sent by a court. So unless you've defaulted on a ccj no-one has the right to enter your home or remove goods etc. Dukes, and various other scummy debt collecting companys will threaten people with all kinds of rubbish and rely on fear to achieve their aims. If you make an offer of a monthly payment, keep copies (or the originals) of everything, you have done all you can do. They almost certainly wont take you to court if you maintain the payment, whatever they may say. If they did take you to court the judge would ask you how much you can afford to pay back each month, and you say the same amount as you already offered them. They just talk a lot of nasty, threating, and often untrue bs. Don't be intimidated by them and their like. Take a look at the debt trust uk website, it explains a lot. Good luck
