It's been 3 weeks since i got the letter saying statements will follow shortly. Should i be chasing them or just wait till the 40 days are up?
-
Yeah i know that but whats the average time before people are getting the statements.

How long are people usually waiting for their copy statements? Its been over 2 weeks since i got the first letter from Barclays returning my tenner and saying they'd send me the statements anyway.

Thanks for the advice Sarah and I won't be put off. Afterall, it is Barclays who are in the wrong. I have sent the request for statements and got the usual letter back with the cheque aswell. However, that was over 2 weeks ago. How long are people waiting on average for the statements to turn up?

Barclays offer LESS than 50% back. Advice please

Plenty more over the six years than they have ever called about. Thinking about it. If they do use that as a defence, shouldn't the charges have gone up on those occasions? If not then maybe that would be admitting all the other times they were charging too much. -

Actually the bank has rang once or twice (no more than twice) when i have gone particularly for over my limit. Do you think this would have a bearing? -

Hello everyone, Stonelaughter says "In which case the fees should be "Reasonable" under the Sale of Goods and Services Act. They are not - £30 for exceeding an overdraft by 35p?!" Whats the amount you go over by got to do woth it? Is this relevent? I've often exceeded mine by shed loads. Will this go against me? -
Has anybody else had the same hassle over existing loans with Barclays. Sounds like a nightmare.

Hi there, I've just read in another thread that a SarahWarren had her accounts closed and they defaulted her on her loan because the payment now couldn't be made. This after just an initial complaint. I've also got a loan with Barclays and this is kinda putting me off claiming. If you're reading this Sarah, what has happened since? Has anybody else experienced anything like this?
