  1. I believe that i am now in the final days of my claim against Barclays. The hearing is set for 9/7/07 and Barclays have failed to comply with the court's directions. I expect them to offer to pay my claim in full sometime before 9/7/07. Can I refuse this and say that I would rather go to court and obtain formal judgement. I really am annoyed with their antics since I lodged my claim. Has anyone pushed for compensation. If so, any success? Thanks
  2. barclays main defence is tht i did not provide details of my claim. they have had a full scedule twice but the claim issued by the court only showed the totals. i am including a further breakdown with the allocation questionnaire. should i also send a copy to barclays litigation dept now?
  3. hi mrs charlton. so pleased to read your comments relating to claiming interest. i was confused and a little depressed to read a doomladen thread on friday saying that if you claimed interest you didn't know what you were doing and may lose your claim. many thanks
  4. hi josamolly yes i stated the total amount owed by barclays and that it remained unpaid
  5. Hi all - first posting. Barclays entered their defence 31 days after my claim was served. apparently this is ok if 28th day falls on a weekend. i had requested judgement by default on day 30 at 1 minute past midnight but because it takes 24 hours to lodge a request thir defence squeezed in and was accepted. The main point is that their defence centres on details of the claim not being provided. As the claim was made online i just included the total amount. detailed breakdown of the claim had been provided on two previous occasions directly to barclays. I have checked with the court and agreed that i will submit a further detailed copy with the allocation questinnaire Barclays have aked for the case to be struck out. does anyone have experience of this situation please
  6. hi. this is my first post-hope i dont break any protocols. i have just submitted my refund claim to barclays (boo!) and have also encoraged a friend and his son to do likewise. his son wonders if repayment is normally by means of cheque or account credit. if the latter the amount will be reduced by whatever he still owes them. can someone please advise. thank you
