Please help if you can, I lost my job in Feb and since then I have been out of work - MBNA repeatedly ignored my offers of a token £1 and took me to court. The court upheld my offer of £1 after they merrily added my court costs but apparently they are not satisfied and have appealed (MBNA I mean). I have had a letter now from my local court saying that I have to attend - but they havent given me any information about what I need to take or expect, I'm a mere person and theres no way if I get hauled into a court room that I will win against a big company solicitor, I dont know what to expect or what to do..... I am really worried - what happens if i don't go, ?? if they send debt collectors in to seize my assets they aren't just mine they are my husbands too and he has done nothing wrong and owes them nothing help??!!!!
