Hi i recently informally rented a room (monday - friday) from a friend of a friend for 4 months with which there was no contract during the final month i was given 2 weeks notice and found a place to stay in london taking with me only some clothes as i was assured that the remainder of my property could be stored with him untill i found somewhere more permanent.Now my problem is that he has since contacted me saying i owe him rent to about 800 pounds, while the amount originally agreed was 200 pounds a month, with which i was up to date, and that he is now holding onto the majority of my property. While this may seem juvanile My question is how would i go about getting my stuff back?
