Hello everyone, this is my first post here and I do hope it's not in the wrong section etc, but from what I gather the question I have relates to a debt collection company of some sort... Earlier today I received a text message out of the blue (and nothing else, no calls/voicemail etc) from "LCS" instructing me to "please contact 0844 543 9069 regarding my Sky Account" and giving me a seven digit reference number to quote. The only Sky Account I have is a SkyBet account which is definitely not overdrawn or in debt in any way shape or form. From the bit of google searching I've done, I've deduced 'LCS' is a debt recovery firm from the Leeds/Yorkshire area I believe. Has anyone else ever heard of them or had anything similar happen to them? - I've got no idea how they got my number, but this sort of thing is a bit worrying. Here's one small snippet of info I found; http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/08704959711 If you scroll down the page, you see someone replied with; "I can NOW confirm that this call was from LCS debt collectors of 31 Yorkersgate, Malton. Their phone number is 0844 543 9069 and they engage in illegal practices" Many thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
