Hi, I currently have a ccj issued for a debt of £250 to Yorkshire Bank. The debt is from 2004 and the ccj from 2008. At the time of the debt and the ccj I had no idea about the idea of reclaiming or fighting bank charges but now I know differently I want to try and do something. The thing about my debt to them is I can honestly say that out of the £150+ debt it had reached (it was around that) my account was only originally £7 overdrawn. The rest is made up of charges, of which about £100 had been charged before the day I went to take my last £10 out of my account and got one hell of a shock. It was another few days after that I eventually got a letter bothering to tell me about the £5 a day charges as well as a £30 charge per month. Considering it is almost completely made up of illegal charges what can I do to start fighting this, if anything now? Bear in mind I have no documentation from back then and dont even know my original account number. Im sure it will be easy to prove it was only £7 once I get these details but I dont know how. I have paid nothing to the bank, but did last year have to pay a small amount to the court to get rid of some bailifs who turned up. I havent paid since and they have never returned (although Im at my parents and Im a student with very few possessions so its hardly worth it I suppose). Any help is greatly appreciated, sorry if this is in the wrong section. Michael
