Hi, A Few Months ago I was so happy that I got my Licence back to drive again after a years wait and the DVLA did all their investigations and I`m on a temporary Licence so I went and got myself a brand new WAV car *Wheelchair accessible!). About seven months ago I transfered to new GP and to cut a story short I did not have proper Care in place for my needs and so I was not controlled by my medication for Narcolepsy and thus I had a letter today from the DVLA stating that they have had further information stating I am not stable with my Narcolepsy this is not true since then I had to fight so hard with the help of my local MP to get 24hr care in place, and so I haven`t had to call the paramedics out or the Drs in the last seven months I do not know what to do, They are asking for my licence back as it has been revoked, but they also say that if I can provide them with Medical Evidence that I reach their standards on driving with Narcolepsy then they will reconsider. I am going into the Sleep Clinic to have a full proper examination and I have everything crossed that on the 2nd of August that I will have a letter from a Consultant which I believe it carries more weight with the DVLA to say that I am stable and have been for some time but needed a little help in the periods when the medication runs out of its daily time limit! Sorry for rambling on, the Question is do I have to give up my Motability Car? at 230 am I sure have made an essay I do hope its understandable as well for this time of the morning. Angelstorm.

*Ssigh* It has to be the ones that need money the most that have to pay the price of the fat cats mistakes!!, I have problems as it is getting my Care needs and funds to help with any adaptations and going out, I do not know what that is. I`m a 36 yrs old women and I live in a very small villiage in Suffolk which is a big county and our Social Services have never got funds for anything and are always in debt themselves.
