Received a letter from Collect Services Limited informing me that a “Warrant of Execution” has been issued for driving in a bus lane more than six months ago (1st of December 2009). This is the first I have heard about this offence.. I have never received any penalty charge notice or anything like that. This is literally the very first I have heard about this ticket. I have changed my address with the DVLA beginning of last year and received a new drivers license with the new address on it 19-06-2009 so the DVLA must have my current address..? I don’t know what to do? The unpaid penalty charge is now £ 387.54 which is excessive.. Do I write back to the Collect Services Limited informing them that I never received any notice before their letter..? I have had no prior opportunity to pay an now all of a sudden I own £ 387.54..? Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
