Hi guys this is my first posyt and im hoping someone can help me, I had a loan and an overdraft facility with RBS and owed a sum of approx £4000. In 2008 i lost my job and was struggling with all my debts and i defaulted on my loan. RBS then passed my debt over to westcot and in 2009 i agreed to pay them £100 a month. I have checked my credit file and RBS are still issuing a default against my name everymonth and have done for the last year, Even though i came to an agreement to pay back the debt. Also if they default me every month until the debt is paid will my credit file then wait 6 years from the final month therefore defaults would be shown for 8 years? cheers guys
