Sorry to hear about your bike mate. I hope you have better luck with Aviva that I have. My van was stolen in April & despite several emails & calls I rarely get any replies. They finally offered me £900 back but then told me they were cancelling my policy & that I have to pay them £1200 which was the remainder of the policy price!!

Hi all, In April my van was stolen, I've had no end of problems trying to get the insurance to pay up. 1st the broker refused a courtesy van even though I was promised I'd never be left without a vehicle. This caused my courier firm to go under. Now they are saying I owe them £950 odd for the remainder of the policy, even though the insurance company is only offering £900 for my van less £500 excess?? Surely this can't be right?? If it is then the insurance wasn't worth having. Was I mis-sold a policy?? PLEASE HELP........

Hi guys Need a little advice. My wife works for a large company and was "offerred" the oportunity to change her job role. The deal was that she would stay on her supervisor rate of pay but would also earn commission. 6 months on she is still being paid a lower rate than before her change of possition & normally does not get the correct ammount of commission. Everytime she raises the isue with the manager, he says he will look into it & then does nothing! Where does she stand? She has a written contract with the higher rate of pay?
