Hi all, I am having problems with sainburys loans for the second time within the space of a year when setting up a new direct debit when changing my bank details. I rang them a few weeks back, gave them my new bank details which they confirmed in a letter to me a few days later, but now they are chasing me for a late payment and want to charge me for it. I phoned the bank who say they have not recieved a request from sainsburys to set up a direct debit from my account, so as far as i am concerned the missed payment is down to sainsburys. I just want some advice on where i stand in this situation and who i could contact as its my word against theirs. Cheers.
