I did ask her if she could let us know what we owe her for July and she said it will be a full month as normal!

Thank you for that. On the Contract she has crossed out "weeks" and put one month. We pay her, monthly, in advance. If I were to pay for just the first 3 weeks of July I would have to ask her what we owe her and I can't work it out!

I have a query concerning my childminder's contract can anyone advise? My Childminder's Contract states that the notice period to give to terminate the COntract is one month - i have actually given her over 6 weeks notice so my child will be leaving her mid July. (I gave her notice at the beginning of June). She has stated that although I have given her one month notice I still have to pay her for the rest of July because the Contract states one month notice to be given. Is she entitled to request this? She has crossed out "weeks" and put "month" but we both signed after she had done this. Can she still claim for the last week in July when my child will not be with her. It seems very unfair? help!
